Leigh Northrup is the Dean of Innovation and Technology at Cannon School, where he has been teaching and leading the maker movement for the last 19 years. A graduate of Pfeiffer University, he received his Masters of Education from The University of Maryland (Go Terps). Leigh has acted as a catalyst for inventors and designers around the country, presenting at numerous local and national conferences about incorporating Makerspaces into education. When not tinkering in his ThinkTank space or coaching his robotics team to state competitions, Leigh enjoys extreme outdoors activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, and whitewater kayaking.
