A sign of an effective tech initiative at a school is teachers using sophisticated applications and systems without needing to worry about how sophisticated those applications and systems are. In other words, they use it because it works. At the Williston Northampton School, OneNote, Office 365, OneDrive, and our device (in our case a Surface) combine to allow teachers to conduct collaborative lessons in class and to provide useful feedback on written work in a variety of ways.

CIO, Williston Northampton School
Aside from my interest in how technology can enhance teaching and learning, I have a Ph.D. in American literature and teach senior English at my school. I'm also an avid runner and I like to participate in local storytelling events. I've even done a MOTH event!
